The Slack integration lets Asymptote post notifications directly to a Slack channel. Once connected, you can receive alerts when security scans complete so your team stays informed without having to check the dashboard. You can configure the integration from Integrations in the dashboard sidebar under Admin.

Connecting Slack

1

Create an incoming webhook in Slack

In Slack, go to Apps and search for Incoming Webhooks. Select the channel you want Asymptote to post to and click Add Incoming Webhooks Integration. Copy the webhook URL that is generated. You can also follow the in-app link How to create a Slack webhook on the Integrations page for step-by-step guidance.
2

Enter the webhook URL

In the Asymptote dashboard, open Integrations and paste your webhook URL into the Webhook URL field under Slack.
3

Configure alerts

Enable Scan completion alerts to receive a notification each time a security scan finishes.
4

Save and test

Click Save & Test. Asymptote will send a test message to your Slack channel to confirm the connection is working.

Disconnecting Slack

To remove the integration, click Disconnect on the Integrations page. This immediately stops all notifications and removes the saved webhook URL.

Access

The Integrations page is restricted to organization admins.
