The Linear integration lets you route vulnerability findings from Asymptote directly into your Linear workspace as issues. Once connected, any finding can be sent to Linear with a single click, with severity automatically mapped to Linear priority and state changes synced back to the finding. You can configure the integration from Integrations in the dashboard sidebar under Admin.

Connecting Linear

1

Connect your Linear workspace

In the Asymptote dashboard, open Integrations and click Connect under Linear. You will be redirected to Linear to authorize Asymptote’s access to your workspace.
2

Select a default team

Choose the Linear team that issues should be created under by default. This can be changed at any time from the integration settings.
3

Configure severity to priority mapping

Map each Asymptote severity level to a Linear priority:
Asymptote SeverityDefault Linear Priority
CriticalUrgent
HighHigh
MediumMedium
LowLow
Each mapping is configurable to match your team’s workflow.
4

Configure state mapping

Map Asymptote vulnerability states to Linear issue statuses:
Asymptote StateDefault Linear Status
OpenTodo
DismissedCanceled
ResolvedDone
5

Save and test

Click Save Settings, then Test to verify the connection. Use Disconnect to remove the integration at any time.

Creating Linear Issues

Once connected, a Create Linear Ticket button appears on every vulnerability finding detail page. Clicking it creates a Linear issue in your configured team with the finding’s title, summary, recommended fix, severity, and a link back to the finding in Asymptote.

State Sync

The integration is a one-way sync from Asymptote to Linear. When a vulnerability finding’s state changes in Asymptote (for example, from Open to Resolved), the corresponding Linear issue status is updated automatically based on your configured state mapping. Changes made directly in Linear are not reflected back in Asymptote.

Access

The Integrations page is restricted to organization admins.
