Quickstart

Choose the quickstart that matches how you want to evaluate or deploy Beacon.

For Security & IT Teams

Pilot Beacon on managed macOS endpoints, validate collection health, choose retention, and connect events to your SIEM workflow.

For Individual Developers

Install Beacon locally with Homebrew, configure endpoint telemetry, and inspect your own AI agent activity.

What both paths set up

Both quickstarts configure the local Beacon endpoint agent so supported AI runtimes can write normalized endpoint events to runtime.jsonl.
